A Journey Rooted in Remembering
In the stillness something ancient stirs
We are fully capable of healing ourselves—mind, body, and soul. Everything we need is already within us, waiting to be uncovered. Transformation isn’t about learning something new but about unlearning the layers that have kept us disconnected from our deeper nature. Our journey is about creating space for what has always been there beneath the surface, tapping into the deep knowing that resides in our bones.
It’s strange when you think about it—that we would need a deliberate process to reconnect with something so primal. But the truth is, we’ve been conditioned to walk familiar paths, to rely on habitual thoughts and routines. Healing happens when we step outside these patterns, trusting the unknown with curiosity and openness. In moments of stillness, in the freedom of nature, and through a simple deep breath, we tap into the quantum realm—unlocking boundless possibilities and new perspectives.
This process of self-discovery is where healing happens, where transformation begins, and where we rediscover our deepest essence. As we align with the natural rhythms of the Earth, we reconnect with our innate wisdom, expressing our true selves fully and authentically.
This journey is about rewilding—returning to the rhythms of the Earth, reconnecting with the wild parts of us, and healing from within. The Buffalo Thorn (Ziziphus mucronata) in my logo represents resilience and nourishment, thriving even in harsh conditions. This tree, known as the “tree of life” in the folklore of the Nguni people of southern Africa, symbolizes the balance we seek: forward momentum while honoring our roots.
The dual thorns of the Buffalo Thorn are a reminder of the power we have within to shape our lives with intention. We each hold the strength to say yes to what aligns with our true essence and no to what no longer serves us. This ability to choose, with clarity and courage, is central to healing and transformation. It’s in the balance between action and stillness, forward movement and reflection, that we step into our full power.
Alongside transformative retreats, I offer various healing modalities—Yoga ,Breathing & Meditation Tarot, BodyTalk, NLP, and Breathing & Meditation—that serve as powerful tools to guide you on your journey. Whether in individual sessions or ongoing support, these practices help unlock your inner wisdom, release blockages, and restore balance.
Incorporating ancient wisdom into my work, I guide people through personalized healing journeys, allowing nature to lead the way as we uncover the dormant power within us. Just as the Buffalo Thorn thrives in harsh conditions, so too do we have the resilience to transform our lives and reconnect with the Earth’s rhythms—finding our place in the great web of life once more
Storm Porteous
Bio
Storm Porteous is a multidisciplinary healing practitioner who weaves together ancient wisdom and contemporary modalities to support personal and collective transformation.
Drawing from a diverse range of practices—including Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, NLP, QHHT, BodyTalk, and Tarot—her work is deeply informed by time spent in the wild, both as a wilderness guide and scuba diver. These immersive experiences ground her spiritual exploration in the rhythms and elemental truths of the natural world.
Shaped by years of living in close relationship with nature, Storm brings a rare depth of ecological awareness to her offerings. She creates sacred spaces where mind, body, spirit, and nature are gently reawakened and reconnected.
Her retreats and private sessions facilitate deep self-discovery—reawakening intuition, enlivening the senses, and supporting emotional breakthroughs. Each experience is an invitation to return to a more natural, unconditioned state of being.
Storm’s journey has naturally evolved into the facilitation of retreats and workshops, where she collaborates with fellow practitioners and guides to co-create immersive, transformative experiences. Her approach bridges inner work with outer exploration, blending movement, breath, ritual, and nature-based practices to dissolve the illusion of separation between humans and the Earth.
To Storm, rewilding is not simply about returning to nature—it is about remembering our true essence. In every breath, in every barefoot step on the Earth, there is a call back to wholeness.
To rewild is to return to the deep, instinctive knowing that we are nature.
Even beyond the last remaining wild places on the planet, nature’s transformative power is always within reach—because it lives within you.
